Hi! My name is Alix Curnow and I am a theatre arts student at the University of Michigan in the USA! I decided to apply for ‘The London Scene’ at Queen Mary University of London because of its focus on integrating students into theatre in the city of London specifically.

I have had a ton of experience studying American theatre, and I was excited for the opportunity to really delve deep into both the historical and contemporary theatre scene in London.

My Mom is from London and I have always dreamed of visiting her hometown. She spoke so highly of Queen Mary, I just had to apply! Below you will find a photograph of me outside one of the theatres in Michigan. I hope to take many photographs like the one below in London once I arrive in just a few days!
