Stepping onto the Queen Mary campus, I felt the promise of a lifetime’s worth of adventure lying ahead.

One of the most remarkable aspects of my exchange experience was the opportunity to travel. Not only did I get to explore the UK, but also other European gems. From the enchanting streets of Spain and Andorra to the charming cities of the Netherlands and the picturesque landscapes of Brighton, Canterbury, Birmingham, and Dover – every destination left an indelible mark on my heart. Not to mention, I could catch up with friends who were also studying abroad, turning my exchange into a reunion of sorts.

From Spanish churros to Dutch stroopwafels, and British fish and chips to delectable pastries from around Europe, my taste buds were on a whirlwind journey.

My time at QM exposed me to a vibrant international community, where I connected with students from the USA, Jamaica, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Chile, and beyond.
